Collaboration with PMD (Pakistan Meteorological Department)

Centre for Climate and Environmental Research (CCER) and Pakistan Meteorological Department join hands to build climate resilient Pakistan by efficiently using climatic and meteorological information. These climatic and meteorological datasets are crucial to build climate-smart agriculture practices, and the agriculture sector in Pakistan serves as the backbone of the economy of Pakistan. Both organizations will work towards data sharing and building data repository and providing solutions to government and other entities based on the efficient use of climatic, agricultural, and glaciers related remote sensing-based data products.
