Optimizing the Impacts of Investing in Resilient and Adaptive Future of Pakistan

CCER team participated in the National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) organized seminar in Islamabad on 31 August 2023. Chairman CCER Mr. Faisal Janjua contributed in a panel discussion on private sector contribution in the climate resilience of Pakistan. In a panel discussion on the private sector’s role in shaping a climate-resilient future for Pakistan, Mr. Janjua highlighted the relevant contributions by Lahore Times Square (LTS). He also briefed the pivotal role of LTS in advancing climate-resilient and energy-efficient building infrastructure across Pakistan. Through real-time project implementation, LTS has set new benchmarks in sustainable construction practices, aligning with global standards.

Another notable aspect emphasized by Mr. Faisal Janjua is LTS’s commitment to fostering the next generation of architects and construction managers. He underscored the transformative impact of updating the curriculum for Bachelor in Architecture and Construction Management, ensuring that educational programs align with contemporary sustainability practices.

During the event, the Chairman CCER Mr. Faisal Janjua and COO Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan briefed about the CCER core initiatives and expertise to different potential partners like UNOPS and FCDO.
