Institutional support in developing building laws can provide clear guidelines in light of the latest developments in housing and sustainable living, green building codes, choice of materials, MEP Codes, LEED building design certification, and energy efficiency
PROBLEM
By-laws of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) do not provide clear directions for high-rise buildings, including commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
CCER’S CONTRIBUTION
In collaboration with Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in upgrading DHA By-laws considering the emerging climate change scenario in Pakistan and the rest of the globe and modern sustainable living concepts and practices.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
This special initiatives will ultimately results in the following benefits such as;
upgradation of green architecture building codes; conservation of natural resources and meeting human health and safety requirements.
