Message from Chancellor
The Center for Climate and Environmental Research (CCER) is an independent and autonomous research & development center. The mission of CCER is to develop ideas and innovative solutions, in addition to strategies for multifaceted climate problems. Our strategy and policies highlight the unique contribution that our knowledge products can make to addressing climate change, as well as the challenges we confront in transitioning to sustainable development. It makes excellent sense to manage our people, our resources, our communities and our environment sustainably.

Message from COO
Climate change is now undoubtedly impacting our lives in several ways. The center aims to educate students, researchers, and the public at large. Gender disparities remain over the world, impacting people’s and communities’ ability to adapt to climate change. There is a need to effectively raise awareness about climate change and build a collective action plan in a participatory manner. Investing in participative, multi-stakeholder, and multi-sectoral climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies can assist the government in developing comprehensive action plans that incorporate gender concerns and use women’s particular expertise and views. At all levels, equal space and resources must be provided for women and men to engage in climate change decision-making and action.
